A Day at Camp

At Camp Bennie, every day hums with possibility. Mornings start in our cozy cabins, followed by time in sunlit studios, at the lake, or out on the trail. Campers move through a mix of creative sessions, outdoor adventures, and unstructured moments to connect and explore. Evenings bring everyone together—sharing meals in the dining hall, gathering for campfires, and building the kinds of friendships that last long after summer ends.

Cabin Life

Powered by the sun and built from recyclable, non-toxic materials, our cabins reflect the camp’s commitment to caring for the planet as much as its campers. Tucked into the trees, they offer a cozy retreat where small groups can rest, connect, and share the kind of late-night laughter that becomes a summer memory.

Dining Hall

Mealtimes at Camp Bennie are fresh, flexible, and full of flavor. Our buffet-style setup means campers can mix and match favorites, from baked (never fried) classics to made-from-scratch comfort food. Whenever possible, we source ingredients from a local farm, and there’s always fresh fruit ready to grab.

Crowd-pleasers include grilled cheese with tomato soup, spaghetti and meatballs, Korean BBQ beef with rice, and tacos loaded with beans, sweet potatoes, and chicken. We’re a nut-free camp, with gluten-free and dairy-free options at every meal—so everyone leaves happy and full.

● Health & Safety

Health Center

Our fully-equipped health center sits right at the heart of camp, staffed 24/7 by warm, knowledgeable registered nurses. From bug bites to the common cold, they’re here to keep campers feeling their best. We safely store and dispense all camper medications, and for anything beyond routine care, a hospital is just a short drive away.

Activities

Life at Camp Bennie doesn’t stop when class is over. Afternoons might mean paddling across the lake in a kayak, hiking wooded trails, or joining a game of soccer on the field. Evenings bring campfires under the stars, movie nights, and the kind of easy laughter that comes with being outdoors together. These moments balance the creative work in the studios, giving campers a full summer of adventure, connection, and play.
